This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a nurturing, forward-thinking environment where every child is supported to thrive. Whether you’re an experienced SEND practitioner or someone with strong transferable skills and a genuine passion for working with neurodiverse young people, we would love to hear from you.

What the role involves

• Working within small classes of 4–6 students
• Providing tailored support based on your experience and strengths
• Assisting with learning activities, emotional regulation and social development
• Some personal care may be required – training and support provided
• Collaborating with teachers and therapists to create a positive, structured learning environment

Why this school?

• Brand-new school, chance to be part of something from the start
• Excellent outdoor play and sensory facilities
• Supportive leadership team who value staff development
• Comprehensive training for all permanent staff
• A genuinely warm, calm and inclusive atmosphere
• Behaviour is not highly challenging, with strong routines already in place

What we’re looking for

• Experience in SEND settings OR transferable skills (care, youth work, psychology, sports coaching, etc.)
• A patient, resilient and compassionate approach
• Ability to commit to full-time hours preferred, though part-time days may be considered
• A desire to build long-term relationships – this is a temp-to-perm role, and the school is keen to offer permanent contracts to the right people

What’s in it for you?

• A pathway into a permanent role
• Ongoing support from Zest Education
• A chance to make a meaningful difference in the lives of young people
• A welcoming team who will help you grow and succeed
