This role is with a company in the property sector, based in Essex.

Description

• Process supplier invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
• Reconcile supplier statements and resolve any discrepancies.
• Prepare and process payment runs, ensuring all approvals are in place.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date purchase ledger records.
• Handle supplier queries and provide resolutions promptly.
• Assist with month-end tasks, including reporting and reconciliations.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth financial operations.
• Support the wider Accounting & Finance department as needed.

Profile

A successful Purchase Ledger Clerk should have:

• Experience in a similar role, preferably within the property sector or Accounting & Finance.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial tasks.
• Good communication skills for liaising with suppliers and internal teams.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• An organised and methodical approach to work.
• A willingness to learn and adapt to new processes.

Job Offer
