Service Desk Coordinator Location: Wednesbury Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30am–5:00pm Temporary to Permanent Pertemps West Bromwich are currently recruiting for a Service Desk Coordinator to join a busy and growing company based in Wednesbury. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong customer service, coordination and organisational skills who enjoys working in a busy environment and is looking for a long-term opportunity with the potential to become permanent. The Role: As a Service Desk Coordinator, your duties will include: Acting as a key point of contact for customers and providing regular updates Booking engineers onto customer jobs and appointments Checking engineers' schedules and locations to ensure jobs are coordinated effectively Liaising with customers to arrange services and appointments Keeping customers informed of engineer attendance and job progress Keeping invoices and costings up to date Completing accurate data entry Providing general office and service desk support to the wider team Assisting with any other duties as required The Ideal Candidate: Previous experience in a customer service, coordination or office-based role is desirable Must be confident and comfortable speaking to customers over the telephone Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong customer service skills and a professional telephone manner Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail Confident using computer systems and Microsoft Office Able to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively Comfortable working in a busy, fast-paced environment Reliable, organised and proactive Flexibility with start times is essential Hours & Pay: Monday to Friday Start time between 7:30am and 8:30am, depending on business requirements Finish time: 5:00pm £12.71 per hour Temporary to permanent opportunity If you have previous customer service, coordination or service desk experience, are confident speaking to customers over the phone and are looking for a long-term opportunity, apply today
