Robert Walters are partnering with a successful, privately owned international business in the search for a commercially minded Head of Finance to play a key role in its continued growth.

Reporting directly to the CEO, this is a highly influential position offering the opportunity to take ownership of the finance function, lead and develop the wider team, and play an active role within the senior leadership team.

With a strong focus on commercial performance, this is much more than a traditional finance leadership role. You'll work closely with the CEO and wider business to identify opportunities, improve profitability, strengthen cash generation and support the company's ongoing growth.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Leading the financial strategy, budgeting and forecasting processes.

• Providing commercial insight and profitability analysis to support business decisions.

• Overseeing cash flow, working capital and financial performance.

• Reviewing supplier profitability and commission arrangements.

• Leading and developing the finance and operational teams.

• Improving management information, reporting and KPI development.

• Identifying opportunities to improve processes, efficiencies and automation.

• Providing board-level reporting and supporting strategic decision-making.

What they're looking for:

• ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified.

• Strong commercial finance experience, ideally within a growing business.

• Proven experience leading and developing teams.

• Confident engaging with senior stakeholders, including CEOs and Boards.

• A track record of improving profitability, managing costs and driving financial performance.

• Strong financial control and reporting experience.

• Someone who can combine strategic thinking with a hands-on, commercially focused approach.
