You'll join our Bristol energy desk as a Trainee Recruitment Consultant, focused on the UK renewable energy market such as solar, wind, storage, grid and the engineers behind the net zero transition. It's a full 360 role, so you'll win the clients as well as find the candidates. From day one you'll learn to headhunt top technical talent, open doors with new clients and run hires from first call to offer, with structured training and hands-on coaching behind you.

You don't need a degree, recruitment experience or an engineering background. We'll teach you the industry and the craft. We're looking for someone ambitious, money-motivated and resilient, who likes talking to people and wants to be rewarded for hard work.

What you'll be doing:

• Becoming the go-to recruiter for your patch of the renewables market, with clients and candidates calling you first.
• Winning new business: identifying growing renewables companies, calling hiring managers and turning conversations into vacancies.
• Headhunting engineers and specialists through LinkedIn, phone, email, job boards and our 21-year database.
• Managing the full process: taking briefs, shortlisting, interviews, offers and placements.
• Building long-term relationships with hiring managers at renewable energy businesses.
• Getting out to client meetings and industry events as your confidence grows.

What we're looking for:

• Drive and self-motivation. You set goals and go after them.
• Financial motivation. Basic is £26k, first-year OTE is £40-48k, and plenty of people beat that.
• Resilience and a good sense of humour. Some days are tough, and the wins make it worth it.
• Strong communication skills and a professional manner. Our clients hire for high-value roles and expect a top-class service.
