Equity Release Adviser

Salary: Up to £45K DOE

Hours: Full-Time (37.5 hours per week)

LegacyWise is a specialist later-life planning business helping clients make confident decisions about their financial future. We provide expert guidance across equity release, estate planning, wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and wealth preservation.

We're looking for an experienced and successful adviser to join our growing team. This role is ideal for an existing Equity Release Adviser or a proven Mortgage Adviser looking to specialise in the later-life lending market.

Applications must hold a full UK driving licence and have access to their own vehicle.

The Role

Providing professional and compliant advice on equity release solutions. Your focus will be on understanding clients' circumstances, delivering excellent outcomes, and guiding them through the advice process with confidence and care.

All appointments are pre-booked for you, enabling you to focus on high-quality fact-finding, suitability assessment, research, and product recommendation.

You will operate in line with FCA requirements, internal compliance procedures, and LegacyWise's professional standards, ensuring excellent customer outcomes at every stage of the advice process.

The role will involve travel to client appointments and meetings as required.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide personalised and compliant equity release advice.
• Conduct client consultations and comprehensive fact-finds.
• Recommend suitable solutions based on clients' needs, objectives, and circumstances.
• Build strong relationships with clients, introducers, and professional partners.
• Manage cases from initial enquiry through to completion.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation in line with regulatory requirements.
• Deliver excellent customer outcomes in line with FCA and Consumer Duty expectations.
• Achieve agreed performance, quality, and compliance standards.
• Keep up to date with industry developments and undertake ongoing professional development.

What We're Looking For

Essential

• CeMAP qualified (or equivalent recognised mortgage qualification).
• Proven track record as a successful Mortgage Adviser within a regulated environment.
• Consistent history of achieving sales targets while maintaining high compliance standards.
• Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Strong organisational and case management abilities.
• Ability to explain complex financial information clearly and confidently.
• Professional, ethical, and customer-focused approach.
• Self-motivated with the ability to manage a busy pipeline of clients.

Desirable

• Experience providing equity release advice.
• CeRER qualification.
• Experience working with later-life clients.
• Knowledge of estate planning, wills, trusts, and powers of attorney.
