Market 36 Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Machine Operator on behalf of our client based in Witham, on a temporary to permanent basis. We are looking for an experienced Machine Operator to join a busy production environment. Previous machine operating experience is essential, although this does not need to have been gained within the food industry. Roles & Responsibilities * Operating and monitoring production machinery * Monitoring machine performance and reporting any issues * Checking weight accuracy throughout production * Checking sealing films and ensuring products are correctly sealed * Checking date codes and product information * Maintaining a clean and organised working area * Following production procedures and company standards * Adhering to strict HACCP and food safety standards * Working closely with the wider production team to maintain smooth production Experience * Previous machine operating experience is essential * Experience within food production is beneficial but not essential * Good attention to detail * Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment * Reliable and able to work as part of a team * Good understanding of health, safety and hygiene procedures Hours Two shift patterns available: * 6:00am – 3:00pm * 3:00pm – Midnight Monday to Friday Market 36 Recruitment Ltd cover a range of sectors including Commercial, Industrial, Engineering, HR & Finance & ITAD.
