We are currently looking to recruit experienced Care Assistants to support older people with dementia in residential and nursing homes in the North London and Hertfordshire areas.

You must have a minimum of 6 months experience working in a care setting in the UK and have checkable work references covering that period.

Job description

• Personal Care: Assist with washing, bathing, dressing, and toileting while maintaining the individual's dignity.
• Food Assistance: Assist in supporting residents with eating and drinking if they require support.
• Mobility Support : Assist residents to move around comfortably and safely, including using mobility aids or hoists when required.
• Social Care: Provide emotional support and promote mental well-being by engaging in conversations, hobbies, and social activities. Good communication skills are essential.
• Housekeeping duties: Perform basic domestic duties like laundry, vacuuming, and tidying to maintain a safe and comfortable environment.
• Record Keeping: Ensure all information is kept up to date on the electronic care plans.
