We are looking for a Retail Store Supervisor to join a growing fashion retail business in Harrogate. This is an exciting opportunity to become a key part of a successful store team, supporting daily operations while delivering outstanding customer service and helping to achieve sales targets.

The Role

As a Retail Store Supervisor, you will be a brand ambassador and role model within the store, supporting the management team to deliver an exceptional shopping experience. You will inspire colleagues, drive sales performance, maintain high visual merchandising standards, and ensure smooth day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Experience & Sales

• Deliver a welcoming and personalised shopping experience for every customer.
• Lead by example on the shop floor to maximise sales opportunities and customer engagement.
• Share product knowledge confidently and provide expert advice to customers.
• Resolve customer queries and complaints professionally and efficiently.
• Support the achievement of store sales targets and KPIs.

Team Leadership

• Assist with the training, onboarding, and development of new team members.
• Motivate and support colleagues to deliver exceptional customer service.
• Encourage a positive, collaborative, and high-performing team culture.
• Act as Duty Manager when required, ensuring the store operates effectively in the absence of senior management.

Store Operations

• Maintain excellent visual merchandising and store presentation standards.
• Support stock management, replenishment, deliveries, and inventory control.
• Assist with till operations, cash handling, refunds, and end-of-day procedures.
• Ensure fitting rooms, stockrooms, and customer areas remain clean, organised, and inviting.
• Promote sustainable and responsible retail practices across all aspects of the store.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Previous supervisory or leadership experience within a retail environment.
• A passion for womens fashion and exceptional customer service.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent organisational abilities and attention to detail.
• A proactive and hands-on approach to work.
• The ability to motivate and develop others.
• Flexibility to work across a variety of shifts, including weekends.
