SUMMARY
The individual requires patient, empathetic and physically active PBS-trained staff who can provide constant supervision due to her high activity levels and safety risks. Staff must maintain a calm, quiet, sensory-friendly environment, avoiding strong scents, smoking and bright-coloured clothing. Personal care and community outings must be carefully managed, with staff taking full responsibility when mum is unavailable. Professional communication with mum, strong safeguarding awareness and the ability to manage challenging behaviours calmly and safely are essential. Toilet extractor fans must remain switched off.
