Finance Manager
Taunton, Somerset
£45,000 - £55,000 per annum

Our client, a growing SaaS technology business, is looking to appoint a qualified Finance Manager to take ownership of its finance function and support its next stage of growth.

As the Finance Manager, you'll oversee financial reporting, tax compliance and business planning, while developing robust systems and processes to support continued growth within a fast-paced, international business.

This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious accountant making their first or second move from practice into industry, with the scope to broaden their commercial experience and play a key role in shaping the finance function.

The responsibilities:

• Lead and develop the overall finance function
• Produce monthly management accounts and financial reports
• Oversee VAT and tax compliance across multiple entities and countries
• Manage high-volume transactions and payment processing
• Establish processes for payroll, expenses and financial controls
• Lead budgeting, forecasting and cash flow planning
• Liaise with external accountants and legal advisers
• Improve finance systems, processes and reporting as the business grows

The candidate:

• ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent qualified accountant
• Experience managing a broad finance function or ready to step up
• Strong knowledge of management accounts, VAT and financial reporting
• Confident working with accounting systems, ideally Xero, and payment platforms
• Proactive, adaptable and comfortable in a fast-paced, evolving environment
