Are you an experienced Credit Controller looking for a role focused on debtor management, customer relationships and cash collection?

We are recruiting for a Credit Controller to join a finance function and take responsibility for managing customer accounts and collecting outstanding balances.

The Role

The successful candidate will help ensure timely payment of outstanding invoices, maintain accurate debtor records and support effective credit control processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Chasing outstanding payments via email, telephone and written correspondence
• Negotiating payment arrangements where appropriate
• Maintaining a professional and customer-focused approach to collections
• Monitoring customer accounts and identifying potential credit risks
• Reconciling customer accounts and resolving discrepancies
• Investigating and resolving invoice and payment queries
• Producing regular updates and reports on debtor balances
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date customer account records

About You

To be considered, you should have:

• Previous credit control experience
• Experience collecting outstanding debt from business customers
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Good attention to detail
• Strong Excel skills
• A professional approach to managing customer accounts and collections
