We're recruiting for a well-established engineering manufacturer based in Poole, specialising in bespoke industrial ultrasonic equipment supplied to customers across a range of industries.

You'll join an experienced and supportive team, learning the products and developing your technical skills while working on a mixture of workshop-based and customer-site projects.

What will you be doing?

No two days will be the same. You'll receive full product training and gradually build your knowledge and confidence across a varied range of engineering tasks, including:

• Servicing, testing and repairing specialist industrial equipment.
• Fault finding and diagnosing mechanical, electrical and electro-mechanical issues.
• Calibration, commissioning and testing of equipment.
• Installing new machinery at customer sites.
• Providing technical support and guidance to customers.
• Carrying out repairs and maintenance both in the workshop and on site.
• Completing service reports and technical documentation.
• Travelling to customer sites throughout the UK, with occasional overseas travel.

Who are we looking for?

You don't need years of Field Service experience for this role.

We're interested in hearing from engineers who have the right technical foundations, a practical mindset and the enthusiasm to learn.

You might have 1–2 years' engineering experience, or perhaps you're a recent graduate with some relevant practical experience through work, placements or an apprenticeship.

What matters most is that you're:

• Technically minded and naturally curious about how things work.
• Comfortable working with tools and equipment.
• Able to approach problems logically and methodically.
• Interested in developing your mechanical and/or electrical engineering skills.
• Confident communicating with customers and colleagues.
• Happy working independently once trained, while knowing when to ask for support.
• Organised and reliable.
• A full UK driving licence holder.
