We’re growing our sales teams and looking for ambitious, commercially minded salespeople to join LOCALiQ across Swindon, Wiltshire, Berkshire, Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire.

We’re holding a Sales Open Day in Swindon, giving you the chance to meet the team, find out more about LOCALiQ and explore the range of opportunities available across our digital, field and telephone sales teams.

Whether your background is in new business, telephone sales, field sales, account management, media or digital advertising, we’re interested in hearing from you.

Our sales teams work with local businesses, helping them reach new customers through advertising and digital marketing solutions. Depending on the opportunity, you could be developing new business over the phone, meeting customers face-to-face, managing and growing accounts, or providing consultative digital advertising solutions.

Our digital and field-based opportunities are hybrid, combining home working, time at our Swindon hub and customer meetings across the region. For these roles, you’ll need a full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle for work-related travel.

Our telephone sales opportunities are office-based in Swindon, working alongside our established sales teams.

Key Responsibilities

Depending on the role, your responsibilities could include:

• Generating new business through proactive outbound prospecting and lead generation
• Building strong relationships with business owners and key decision-makers
• Understanding customers’ commercial goals and identifying the right advertising and digital solutions
• Managing the sales process from initial conversation through to proposal and close
• Developing and growing existing customer accounts alongside winning new business
• Conducting sales conversations over the telephone, virtually or face-to-face
• Working towards individual sales targets and wider team objectives
• Maintaining an accurate and well-managed sales pipeline
• Creating long-term customer relationships through a consultative, commercially focused approach
• Keeping up to date with LOCALiQ’s digital advertising solutions and the wider local business market

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

We’re open to speaking with people from different sales backgrounds and levels of experience. You don’t need to have worked in media or digital advertising before.

We’d particularly like to hear from you if you have:

• Previous experience in sales, business development, account management or another commercially focused role
• Confidence speaking with customers and decision-makers, whether over the phone or face-to-face
• A proactive approach to generating new business and developing sales opportunities
• Strong communication, questioning and relationship-building skills
• The ability to understand a customer’s needs and recommend appropriate solutions
• A target-driven mindset with the motivation to achieve results
• Resilience, self-motivation and confidence in a fast-paced sales environment
• Good organisation and the ability to manage multiple customers and opportunities

For our digital and field-based roles, a full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle for work-related travel is essential.
