About the Role

• Take responsibility for a Year 3 class, including planning, teaching, assessment, and pastoral care.
• Deliver engaging, creative, and differentiated lessons that inspire pupils and support their progress.
• Work collaboratively with the KS2 team to maintain high standards of teaching and learning.
• Create a positive classroom environment where pupils feel safe, motivated, and encouraged to succeed.
• Manage behaviour effectively and promote positive relationships.
• Contribute to the wider school community through staff meetings, professional development, and school events.

About You

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Have experience teaching in KS2, ideally in Year 3.
• Be confident delivering the National Curriculum and adapting lessons to meet pupils' needs.
• Demonstrate strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
• Build positive relationships with pupils, colleagues, and parents.
• Be enthusiastic, reflective, and committed to supporting every child's development.
