PPT Driver – Skelmersdale – £13.00 Per Hour

People Solutions are currently recruiting for experienced PPT Drivers to join our well-established client based in Skelmersdale.

This is a fantastic opportunity offering £13.00 per hour, stable Monday-to-Friday working hours, weekly pay, overtime opportunities, ongoing work and immediate starts.

This position is ideal for applicants who have previously worked as a PPT Driver, Powered Pallet Truck Operator, Electric Pallet Truck Operator, Warehouse PPT Operative or Forklift Truck Operative with PPT experience.

Important: Previous experience operating a Powered Pallet Truck (PPT) is essential.

Shifts

• Monday to Friday
• 11:00–19:00
• Stable weekday working hours

• £13.00 per hour

Day-to-Day Duties

As a PPT Driver, your duties will include (but are not limited to):

• Operating Powered Pallet Truck (PPT) equipment safely and efficiently
• Carrying out pre-use equipment inspections and reporting faults
• Receiving goods into the warehouse and stowing pallets
• Checking quantities and visually inspecting incoming and outgoing goods
• Unpacking and storing incoming deliveries
• Organising stock ready for dispatch
• Moving goods around the warehouse as required
• Assisting with general warehouse duties when required
• Following all health and safety procedures

Essential Skills

To be successful as a PPT Driver, you will need:

• Proven experience operating a Powered Pallet Truck (PPT)
• Good communication skills and ability to multitask
• Strong spatial awareness
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Good organisational skills
• Reliable and self-motivated attitude
• Flexibility to undertake a variety of warehouse duties
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team

Desirable Experience

• Previous warehouse experience
• Experience with goods-in, stock movement and dispatch operations

Training Provided

• Full training provided
• Assessment required before starting
• Industry-related training and ongoing support throughout your assignment
