You’ll transport goods between collection points and customers, helping keep deliveries organised and dependable. You’ll handle items carefully, communicate clearly about delivery progress and work with colleagues to resolve practical issues. Your impact: careful handling and clear updates help customers receive their goods in good condition and colleagues coordinate the next steps. Duties * Drive a van safely and responsibly, following agreed routes and delivery instructions. * Load, unload and move goods, using safe handling practices when lifting heavier items. * Check items and delivery details, keep records up to date and report discrepancies promptly. * Communicate courteously with customers and colleagues, sharing relevant updates and escalating issues. Experience Required: Practical driving ability, confidence operating a van, clear communication and the ability to handle goods safely are important for completing deliveries and coordinating with others. Preferred: Delivery driver experience, commercial driving experience or warehouse experience can help you manage collections, loading and unloading, and customer handovers effectively.
