We have an exciting opportunity for a highly experienced and dedicated Nursery Manager to join a well-established nursery based in Chingford, Greater London.  This role is also the perfect oppertuntiy for a hands on Deputy Manager looking for the next step up. Person Specification: Level 3 Childcare qualification or above Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role Basic Food Hygiene Certificate (Desirable) Paediatric First Aid (Desirable) Some of the Nursery Manager responsibilities will include: Leading by example and managing day to day nursery operations Working closely with the area managing KPI’s Building positive relationships with parents and key interfacing groups Developing a staff team, managing recruitment, induction, ongoing supervisions, conducting regular staff assessments, identifying and sourcing training needs Supervision of the planning and preparation of activities in line with EYFS to develop all aspects of the child's individual learning and development Ensuring staff understand and adhere to all nursery policy and procedures Managing budgets and keep accurate records of staffing, payroll, banking, petty cash, issuing invoices and fee collection Managing Staff Rotas and meetings Maintaining accurate records to include accident, incident, medication, registers and risk assessment Marketing the nursery, arranging leaflet drops, open days etc To ensure the nursery is running to its full capacity by effectively managing inquiries, conducting show-rounds, operating a waiting list, as appropriate To attend out of working hours’ activities, to include training, staff meetings, parents’ evenings and special events Working 40 Hours per week Benefits: Training ongoing support and career development Due to the nature of this job, candidates will be subject to UK eligibility checks together with Enhance Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) checks For immediate interview please email Staff Match your up to date CV or call (phone number removed)
