We are looking for several dedicated 7.5 Tonne Driver (Cat C1 ) to join the team. Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00am starts Pay Rate: £33,646 per Annum Location: Durham, DH2 Job Type: Temp to Perm The role: * Securely moving and transporting palletised or loose parcels to customers or businesses. * Packages will be heavy (up to 80kg weight) * Up to 30 drops per day. * Drivers will be required to unload and load - trucks will be fitted with tail lift for palletised goods * Focusing on safe driving and maintaining accurate paperwork. * Interacting with customers and representing the company in a professional and courteous manner. Requirements: * Full UK driving licence with C1 entitlement (7.5 Tonne). * 12 months experience required * Be comfortable with heavy lifting and handballing * Valid and in date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card. * No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only). * Full understanding of WTD legislation. * Excellent communication skills. * A safety-first mindset.
