Our client, a technology-focused organisation, is seeking a Resource Manager for a six-month contract in Romsey. This hybrid role requires a minimum of two days onsite each week and will support the allocation of people and skills across project assignments, bids and business priorities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Partner with stakeholders to capture project demand and identify suitable people with availability across the business
• Allocate resources to project delivery and short-turnaround bid opportunities
• Balance competing priorities while securing appropriate skills within required timescales
• Collaborate with fellow Resource Managers and Line Managers to support professional development and project demands
• Resolve resourcing conflicts and provide practical solutions in a fast-changing environment
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders across business units and corporate services
• Provide clear updates and resource insights using appropriate reporting and dashboard tools

Job Requirements:

• Experience in resource management, HR, professional services or a similar technical matrix organisation
• Practical experience of tactical resourcing and allocating people to project assignments
• Strong stakeholder management, influencing and relationship-building skills
• Excellent prioritisation, organisational and time management abilities
• Confident conflict resolution and problem-solving skills
• Resilient, proactive and flexible, with the ability to work effectively under tight deadlines
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with sound judgement when balancing individual, customer and business needs
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, with experience of Microsoft Teams and Microsoft 365 applications

Desirable Skills and Experience:

• Experience using dashboard tools such as Power BI
• Previous use of ProFinda or another smart resource management platform
• Security Clearance (SC) is preferred, although not essential to start
• Willingness to complete BPSS screening

Contract Details:

• Six-month contract
• Hybrid working in Romsey, with a minimum of two days onsite each week
• Inside IR35
