Position Summary: Responsible for the safe day-to-day running of an allocated machine and to ensure that all manufacturing targets are achieved. Duties & Responsiblities: * CNC milling * CNC turning * Product components with agreed cycle times, confirm specifications listed on drawings, and satisfy all internal quality control measures * Use inspection equipment (vernier, micrometer, PI tape, CMM and inspection arms) * Use forklift trucks as required to collect and return material * Conduct daily maintenance checks on allocated machinery * Complete minor maintenance to allocated machinery Person: * Recently qualified apprentice * Experienced in CNC turning and milling * Has experience of working to diameters of up to 2.3 meters * Ability to read, understand, and interpret engineering drawings
