We are recruiting for an Assistant Operations Manager on a cluster of Student Accommodation buildings in Bath/Swindon.

Salary: £34,500 per annum

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations across the property, ensuring services are delivered efficiently and
• safely.
• Maintain a visible presence across the property, supporting teams and monitoring service delivery.
• Ensure the community hub is staffed and operational during advertised opening hours
• Manage team rotas and attendance, ensuring adequate staffing and operational coverage.
• Conduct audits of service areas to ensure high standards of cleanliness and presentation.
• Ensure the property remains safe, clean and well presented for residents and visitors.
• Coordinate communication and handover with the night team to ensure continuity of operations.
• Drive the service philosophy across the team and promote strong resident engagement.
• Support initiatives that enhance resident experience, including programmes such as Resident
• Ambassadors.
• Support the delivery of occupancy and revenue targets.
• Manage the sales pipeline, ensuring strong lead management and viewing conversion.
• Provide direct line management of the Operations Assistant Team, ensuring clear leadership,
• direction and support.

Experience, Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in a customer service, hospitality, residential or property operations environment.
• Experience supervising or leading operational or customer-facing teams.
• Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple operational priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience supporting sales, retention or resident engagement activities desirable.
• Good understanding of health and safety procedures.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
