We are working with a small, friendly semi-rural primary school in the Accrington area seeking a talented Year 5/6 Class Teacher to join their team from 1st November 2026 through to July 2027.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a welcoming school with a highly supportive Headteacher, excellent staff team, and well-behaved pupils who are eager to learn.

The Role

• Full-time Year 5/6 Class Teacher
• November 2026 start
• Long-term position until July 2027
• Planning, preparation and assessment responsibilities included
• Small semi-rural primary school setting
• Supportive leadership team and positive school culture

Pay

• £184.83 - £209.95 per day
• Paid weekly
• Rate dependent on experience

The Ideal Candidate

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience teaching within KS2
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• Passionate about raising attainment and pupil progress
• Able to build positive relationships with pupils, staff and parents
