Your New Role
We are recruiting for an Operations Coordinator to join a busy and growing organisation supporting international projects and offshore operations. This is a varied position that would suit an organised and proactive individual with experience in logistics, freight, travel coordination or project support.You will play a key role in ensuring the smooth delivery of operations by coordinating freight movements, personnel mobilisation, project documentation and day-to-day operational administration.

Key Responsibilities (this list is not exhaustive)

• Coordinate domestic and international freight shipments, ensuring timely delivery and customs compliance.
• Manage personnel mobilisation, including travel bookings, accommodation, visas and certification requirements.
• Prepare and maintain operational, shipping and compliance documentation.
• Support project planning, resource scheduling and equipment logistics.
• Liaise with clients, suppliers, freight partners and internal stakeholders to ensure efficient project delivery.
• Monitor logistics costs, supplier invoices and support procurement activities.
• Maintain accurate databases, reports and tracking systems.
• Provide administrative support to operational teams and contribute to process improvements.

What You'll Need to Succeed

Essential

• Previous experience in operations, logistics, freight forwarding, project support or a similar coordination role.
• Strong understanding of international freight and shipping processes.
• Experience managing import/export documentation and customs requirements.
• Experience coordinating domestic and international travel arrangements.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word and Outlook.
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Desirable

• Experience within offshore renewables, marine, oil & gas or related sectors.
• Understanding of offshore personnel certification requirements.
• Experience with visa applications and international travel compliance.
• Familiarity with freight management systems or ERP platforms.
• Knowledge of UK and international customs procedures.
