Looking for variety, energy, and zero weekend lesson prep?

If you thrive on fast-paced days and love helping teenagers unlock their potential, this is for you. We are looking for adaptable Cover Teachers to become key players in a welcoming secondary school community in Rochdale.

Whether you're an experienced practitioner taking a step back from full-scale planning, an early-career teacher wanting broad classroom exposure, or a natural mentor - every day here offers a fresh opportunity to spark momentum.

No Two Days the Same. Every Day a Difference.

With a close-knit, values-led educational family built on mutual respect, high expectations, and genuine care for one another, this Rochdale secondary school champions a supportive atmosphere where every single student is encouraged to stretch their horizons, discover their strengths, and take pride in who they are becoming. The successful candidates will find staff support is real, student well-being comes first, and positivity is contagious.

What Makes You a Great Fit:

• Classroom Versatility: You can step into any lesson with confidence, structure, and enthusiasm.
• Relationship Builder: You connect easily with young people, encouraging positive behaviour through rapport and clear boundaries.
• High Standards: You set a great tone, keeping students motivated and on-task.
• Values-Driven: You enjoy working in a community that places kindness, integrity, and personal growth at the centre of school life. (Open to educators of all backgrounds who support a warm, faith-aligned ethos!)

Why You'll Love Working Here:

• Pure Teaching: Deliver great lessons without taking a single exercise book home.
• A Fantastic Team: Work alongside friendly, down-to-earth colleagues who have your back from day one.
• Total Flexibility: Work around your life commitments while making a meaningful daily contribution.
• Real Gratitude: Feel valued as a vital member of our school family, not just a temporary substitute.

Ready for Your Next Chapter?

If you hold QTS (or equivalent qualification/classroom experience) and want to work in an inspiring Rochdale environment, we'd love to hear from you.
