INTERIM HEAD OF FINANCIAL PLANNING & REPORTING - LONDON

£500 per day | Umbrella | Inside IR35
London Victoria - 3 days per week in the office
4-month contract | Immediate start

I'm currently looking for an experienced Interim Head of Financial Planning & Reporting to join a fast-growing, international B2B software group during a critical period of growth.

Reporting directly to the CFO, you'll take ownership of the 2027 group budget cycle and monthly management reporting, ensuring key deliverables are completed accurately and to tight deadlines.

Key responsibilities:
Take ownership of the 2027 group budget process and deliver for sign-off by mid-December.
Consolidate group financial forecasts, budgets and management reporting across multiple entities and currencies.
Review financial submissions, challenge assumptions and investigate variances.
Oversee monthly reporting packs, KPIs and lender reporting.
Support board reporting and ensure a smooth handover to the permanent hire.
Work closely with the CFO, Head of Accounting and an existing FP&A analyst.

What I'm looking for:
ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent qualified accountant.
Proven experience taking over a budget and reporting cycle at short notice.
Strong group FP&A and management reporting experience in a multi-entity, international business.
Experience with intercompany recharges, cost allocations and transfer pricing.
Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills.
A hands-on approach, sound financial judgement and the ability to hit demanding deadlines.

Experience within software, SaaS or recurring-revenue businesses would be advantageous. SAP Business ByDesign or Abacum experience is desirable but not essential.
