Role: Civil Engineering Technician Location: Crawley Salary: £31,000 - £41,000 Ref: MAR371 Due to a healthy forward workload, our client is currently looking to appoint a Civil Engineering Technician to join their Crawley office team. The successful candidate will have a fantastic opportunity to work on a variety of projects spanning the retail, logistics, rail, residential, commercial, and renewables sectors. Role & Responsibilities: * Assisting a team of engineers and technicians with the production of engineering drawings in AutoCAD & Civils 3D * Production of Autocad Models of schemes. * Preparation and checking of simple engineering calculations * Initial checking of own work and junior staff members * Contributing to and providing solutions to design problems * Meeting agreed deadlines * Liaison with statutory bodies such as Water Companies, Environmental Agency and County Roads Departments etc. * Ensure that quality and consistency of technical output by the team (drawings, reports etc.) is maintained. * Liaise in a professional manner colleagues, clients, contractors and other designers and to offer advice and guidance on matters relating to their work.
