Commercial Property Solicitor/Legal Executive – Exeter – 3+ PQE

An established law firm is looking to appoint a Commercial Property Solicitor or Legal Executive to join its growing team in Exeter.

This is an excellent opportunity for a commercial property lawyer who wants a varied caseload, immediate work and the opportunity to play an active role in developing the firm's commercial property offering across Exeter and the wider Devon market.

You will join an established team with work ready to pick up from day one, while also having the support and encouragement to develop new client relationships and generate business locally.

The Role

You will work on a broad range of commercial property matters, managing existing clients and helping to grow the firm's presence in the Exeter market.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing a varied commercial property caseload
• Advising clients on commercial property transactions
• Taking responsibility for existing client matters
• Building and developing client relationships
• Supporting the continued growth of the Exeter commercial property practice
• Working closely with colleagues across the firm's other offices
• Contributing to business development and networking activity

The wider Commercial Property team operates across multiple offices, giving you access to a strong network of colleagues and expertise. You will also have dedicated paralegal support.

About You

The firm is looking for a qualified Commercial Property Solicitor or Legal Executive with at least 3 years' PQE. You should have:

• Strong commercial property experience
• The ability to manage your own caseload
• Excellent communication and client management skills
• A commercial and client-focused approach
• An interest in business development and growing a local client base
• The confidence to work collaboratively across a multi-office team

Previous business development experience would be advantageous, but the firm is also open to candidates who are keen to develop this aspect of their career with the support of an established team.
