Location : Multisite covering services across the North West

Contract type : Full time, 40 hours per week - Monday - Friday

Rate : £41,030 per annum

Join us as your new Senior Occupational Therapist working across four complex care services in the North West

As a Senior Occupational Therapist with us, you'll support our residents with a high-quality occupational therapy service throughout their journey with us. You'll play a key role in empowering them and maximising their independence.

You'll lead and supervise Junior Therapists or Therapy Assistants across the homes you support to ensure delivery of evidence-based, high quality therapy and rehabilitation.

You'll build relationships with the people you support, and see the progress they make through ongoing care, which is extremely rewarding.

About the role

Our Occupational Therapists provide specialist assessments, clinical diagnoses and interventions to help people overcome the challenges they face with completing everyday tasks and activities.

You'll work as part of a wider Clinical Team to create person-centred care and rehabilitation plans that maintain and build people's abilities, support them to achieve their goals and evaluate their outcomes.

No two days will ever be the same, but your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• being responsible for a clinical caseload
  
  *working alongside the people we support, their loved ones and professionals to develop and deliver person-centredoccupational therapy interventions
  
  *collaborating closely with theTherapy Team (Physiotherapist, Therapy Assistant and Activities Coordinators)
  
  *being responsible for aclinical caseload
  
  *carrying outassessments
  
  *maintaining accuraterecords for people receiving occupational therapies
  
  *promoting choice,dignity and independence.

About you

• Take a slight left onto Wheatland Lane, then turn right onto Alfred Road.

Edgewater is on your left.

There are limited parking spaces in the home's car park.

The home is a short walk from several bus stops.

• Wheatland Lane bus stop (stop ID: meramdmp) which is accessed by buses 409 and 411.
• Corbyn Street bus stop (stop ID: meramdmt) which is accessed by buses 409 and 411.

There's also a train station in the local area.

• Hamilton Square - 1.1 miles away (27 minute walk or 5 minute drive).
