Psychology Graduate - Reading

A welcoming SEN school in Reading is looking for a caring and enthusiastic Psychology Graduate to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity to apply your degree in a practical setting while supporting children and young people with autism, additional needs, behavioural difficulties, and emotional challenges.

The Role

• Provide 1:1 and small-group support to students with additional needs.
• Help students develop emotional regulation, communication, confidence, and social skills.
• Build positive relationships and encourage students throughout the school day.
• Work alongside teachers and SEN professionals to support individual learning and behavioural needs.

What We're Looking For

• A degree in Psychology or a related subject.
• A genuine interest in child development, behaviour, and special educational needs.
• A patient, empathetic, and resilient approach.
• Strong communication skills and a willingness to learn.
• Previous experience with children or SEN is beneficial but not essential.

Job Details

• Location: Reading
• Setting: SEN School
• Pay: £93-£110 per day
• Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:30am-3:30pm
• Contract: Full-time
• Start Date: ASAP
