An excellent opportunity has arisen for a part-time Payroller (15 hours) to work on a 6 month basis for this great company in Hexham. Your duties will be as follows:

• Preparation of monthly payroll and processing it on Sage Payroll
• Setting up new starters and leavers
• Calculation of hours to pay seasonal staff using timesheets and a rota
• Amendments to monthly salaried payments for changes to rates/ hours worked, as required
• Calculating and processing statutory payments
• Collection and provision of information for the pension provider
• Extracting data from the payroll system to input into the finance system and carrying out reconciliations
• Preparing and processing payroll related invoices, including pension payments, union subscriptions etc
• Dealing with ad-hoc payroll queries

You will have strong payroll experience and will have worked in a similar role previously.
