A fantastic children's residential care business that have gained a great reputation throughout the East Midlands are working closely with DB Charles Recruitment to hire new Senior Residential Care Workers at locations in Nottinghamshire, around the NG16 & NG22 areas.

The hired individual for these roles will work closely with the manager, supporting them on a day to day basis carrying out the duties as listed below. Most importantly the role will require excellent support and safeguarding to the young people onsite at all time, striving to go above and beyond.

Day to day duties for the role will include:

• Supporting management
• Carrying out on-call duties
• Shift planning
• Demonstrating best practice
• Behaviour support to young people
• Staff supervision
• Building positive relationships
• Carrying out care plans, risk assessments and ensuring all documentation and reporting is carried out to a high standard
• Safeguarding
• Plus many more

In order to be considered for this role, the candidate will need to hold a number of the below attributes:

• Previous experience working in children's residential care
• Experienced working with children with challenging behaviour and needs
• EBD experience
• Strong safeguarding understanding
• Must hold a full UK Driving license
• Able to pass enhanced CRB & safeguarding checks
• A compassionate, patient character with excellent communication skills
• A passion to make a difference
• Ideally holds a Level 3 diploma or above in Children's Residential Care

For the positions based at locations around NG16 & NG22 in Nottinghamshire, depending on experience and qualifications, the role is able to offer a salary varying between £35,000 to £37,000 per annum with a variety of additional bonuses on offer such as:
