We are looking for an Import Operator based in Bradford with experience in Sea Freight Imports. This role is working for a well-established, profitable business with a longstanding team.  In this role, you'll be responsible for managing end to end shipments for regular customers. The company imports from various locations so we will consider candidates with any experience within freight forwarding. Main duties to include: Managing sea imports for regular clients Obtaining the best prices from shipping lines and negotiating rates Ensuring customers have the correct solution that meets their needs Ensure all shipments have the correct documentation Update customers, shipping lines and agents with any changes Resolve queries relating to lost, damaged or delayed shipments We are looking for: Experience of managing sea imports Experience in a freight forwarder or similar business Someone who puts the customer first Excellent communication skills Someone who is organised and sees tasks through to completion Ability to work to deadlines Benefits include: £30,000 - £37,000 depending on experience  25 days holiday plus Bank Holidays Annual pay review Free parking Annual bonus Training and progression opportunities If you are interested in this role, apply and submit your CV today
