Your new role
HGV drivers with CPC Card are required for ongoing temporary work in Chelmsford.
Our client is looking for hard-working, reliable staff to drive around Chelmsford removing waste and recyclables from homes and businesses and take away for disposal or recycling. If you are physically fit and work well in a team, this job is for you.

In this role you will need to work quickly and cleanly and remain polite and professional with the public. Be upbeat, proactive and positive, with a 'can-do' attitude. You must also have a flexible approach to work and changing circumstances.

Work activities include:
- collecting residential waste and recycling in Chelmsford
- moving bags, wheelie bins and recycling bins and boxes
- using a lifting mechanism to tip the waste from bins into the lorry
- reporting any problems with waste collections
- help waste collection operatives with collections

2 years of HGV driving experience required but not essential.

Working hours: 37 hours per week, Monday-Friday 7.00am-3.00pm.

What you'll need to succeed
HGV Class 2 Licence. A full clean driving licence able to drive up to 7.5 tonnes with CPC and Taco would potentially be considered also.
