Position: One-to-One Outreach and Home Tuition Tutor
Location: Southwark
Hours: Flexible, up to 40 hours per week
Pay: Competitive, based on experience and qualifications
Contract: Ongoing placements

Help Young People Re-engage With Learning

Remedy Tutors is looking for patient and adaptable tutors to provide one-to-one tuition to students who may find mainstream education challenging.

You may support students with autism, ADHD, SEMH needs, anxiety, sensory sensitivities or communication difficulties. Some may have been out of education or need additional support to rebuild their confidence and learning routines.

Responsibilities

• Teach both Maths and English.

• Deliver personalised lessons based on individual needs.

• Adapt activities and resources to support understanding.

• Encourage engagement, confidence and independence.

• Build positive relationships with students.

• Monitor progress and adapt lessons.

About You

• Must be able to teach Maths and English.

• SEN/SEND or SEMH experience is desirable.

• Patient, calm and encouraging approach.

• Able to work independently and adapt to different needs.
