We're expanding our Finance recruitment team in Reading and are looking for an experienced recruiter or accomplished sales professional to take ownership of a high-potential Senior Interim Finance desk.

This is an exciting opportunity to build a specialist portfolio focused on executive-level finance appointments across some of the South East's most dynamic and investment-led sectors, including:Technology, AI and data centres, Life sciences, pharmaceutical and healthcare, Defence and aerospace, Utilities, energy and infrastructure and Private equity-backed businesses.

These markets are experiencing continued transformation, investment and growth, creating strong demand for accomplished interim finance professionals who can support acquisitions, integrations, systems implementations, performance improvement and business-critical change. You'll have the autonomy to shape your market, develop an influential senior network and establish yourself as a trusted recruitment partner to CFOs, Finance Directors, transformation leaders, investors and business decision-makers.

The Opportunity

As a Senior Recruitment Consultant within our Finance team, you'll build and manage a specialist portfolio of senior interim finance appointments across the South East.

You'll develop trusted relationships with clients and candidates, provide credible market insight and deliver high-quality recruitment solutions for complex and business-critical appointments.

Your market will include roles such as:Interim Chief Financial Officers, Finance Directors, Heads of Finance,Financial Controllers, Finance Transformation Directors, Senior Finance Business Partners, ERP and systems implementation specialists and/or Performance improvement and working capital specialists

You'll focus on developing a strong network of senior finance professionals operating at £600+ per day, connecting leading organisations with the specialist expertise they need during periods of investment, transformation and change.

What I can expect Day to Day

• Building and growing a specialist Senior Interim Finance desk across the South East
• Managing the full recruitment lifecycle, from market mapping and business development through to placement and ongoing contractor care
• Providing clients and candidates with credible market intelligence and consultative advice
• Working collaboratively with colleagues across senior appointments and our wider temporary recruitment business

Who are we Looking For

You'll be an experienced recruiter or commercially successful sales professional with the confidence and credibility to engage senior finance leaders and business decision-makers.

You'll be able to demonstrate:

• Strong business development and advanced networking capabilities
• Confidence building relationships with senior stakeholders
• A consultative and commercially credible approach
• The ability to develop detailed specialist market knowledge
• Experience managing complex or high-value sales processes
• The drive to build a successful desk and long-term professional network
• Resilience, personal accountability and a genuine appetite for growth

Previous finance recruitment experience would be beneficial, but it isn't essential. What matters most is your ability to develop senior-level relationships, identify commercial opportunities and build credibility within a specialist market.
