Azure DevOps Engineer / Senior DevOps Engineer | Azure, Databricks & CI/CD | £650-750/day via Umbrella | London Hybrid

We're supporting a leading global consulting organisation seeking a hands-on Azure DevOps Engineer to join a major enterprise transformation programme.

This role is focused on the deployment, automation and support of Azure platform services, working closely with engineering, data and cloud teams to deliver robust CI/CD solutions across a modern Azure estate. We're looking for genuine Azure DevOps practitioners rather than Delivery Managers, Scrum Masters or purely infrastructure-focused consultants.

Assignment Details

• London (1-2 days per week)
• Initial 6 months with extension potential
• £650-750/day via Umbrella
• Immediate/short-notice starts preferred

Essential Experience

• Strong hands-on Azure DevOps and/or GitHub Actions experience
• Building and supporting CI/CD pipelines within Azure environments
• Deploying and supporting Azure services including:
  • Azure Data Factory (ADF)
  • Azure Databricks
  • Azure Synapse
  • Azure Data Lake
• Infrastructure as Code using:
  • Terraform
  • Bicep
  • ARM Templates
• YAML pipeline development
• Azure platform engineering and cloud deployments
• Git version control and release automation
• Experience working across production Azure environments

Desirable

• AKS / Kubernetes
• PowerShell or Python scripting
• Azure certifications (AZ-104, AZ-400, AZ-305)
• Consulting or enterprise-scale programme experience
• Financial Services, Government, Retail or Enterprise experience

What We're Looking For

The ideal candidate will demonstrate recent project experience where they have:

• Built or maintained Azure DevOps or GitHub deployment pipelines
• Delivered Azure Data Factory and/or Databricks deployments
• Worked hands-on across Azure engineering environments
• Operated as a senior Azure DevOps Engineer rather than solely a people manager or project lead
