A small, well-established electronics design consultancy is looking for an all-round Electronic Engineer to join its team on a 4-month contract. You'll work on a wide variety of client projects, taking designs from concept through schematic and PCB layout to prototype and test. It's a hands-on role where you'll see projects end to end rather than working on one narrow piece.

What you'll be doing
* Designing analogue and digital circuits across a range of client products

* Component selection, BOMs and working with PCB manufacturers and assemblers
* Building, testing and debugging prototypes on the bench
* Writing design documentation and supporting clients through to production
Essential skills for the Electronic Design Engineer are:
* Hands-on experience with KiCad for schematic capture and PCB layout
* Good all-round electronics knowledge: analogue, digital and mixed-signal design
* Confident with bench equipment: oscilloscopes, multimeters, power supplies, soldering and rework
