Home Care Assistant – Sefton

£13.51 per hour | Full-time and part-time opportunities | Minimum 20 hours per week

30p per mile for drivers | No experience required

We’re recruiting Care Assistants for a domiciliary care provider with a branch in Sefton, supporting people in their own homes across Bootle, Netherton, Litherland, Thornton, Crosby, Thornby, Maghull and Southport.

You don’t need previous care experience. We’re looking for people with the right values, a kind approach and a willingness to learn. You’ll receive a thorough induction, full training and ongoing support to help you feel confident in your role.

The role

You’ll help people live as independently as possible in their own homes, providing support with:

• Personal care, including washing, dressing and toileting.
• Preparing meals and supporting daily routines.
• Medication, following training and care plans.
• Everyday household tasks.
• Companionship and emotional support.

Hours and shift patterns

Full-time and part-time opportunities are available, with a minimum commitment of 20 hours per week.

Shifts are scheduled between 7am and 10.30pm, on a two-week rolling rota, working four days one week and three days the next.

Weekend availability is required, with options to work:

• Both Saturday and Sunday every other weekend; or
• Every Saturday or every Sunday.

• Good communication skills and a willingness to learn.
• Applicants aged 18 or over.

Drivers are ideal, with mileage paid at 30p per mile. Non-drivers will also be considered if they can travel locally to deliver care in the areas listed above.
