Randstad Education are currently recruiting for experienced Teaching Assistants for various roles across Merseyside. Opportunities range from flexible day-to-day supply to long-term posts. Experience working with children is essential for this role.

Responsibilities

• Work with pupils on a 1:1 basis or in small groups to provide support during lessons
• Provide general support to the class teacher, such as setting up the classroom for lessons
• Support pupils with SEN and develop strategies to best support their needs
• Liaise with the class teacher and any other relevant professionals to discuss pupil progress
• Provide additional support with lunch and break duties where needed
• Report any concerns to the SENCo

Requirements

• Previous experience working in Education or similar role
• SEN experience
• Level 2/3 Childcare qualification (desirable)
• Enhanced Child DBS (or willingness to apply)
