Credit Controller

Based just outside Henfield, West Sussex (parking available)

£30,000 - £34,000 per annum pro rata (25 - 30 hours per week)

Tony Alan Recruitment currently has an exciting job opportunity for a Credit Controller to join a long standing business with a fantastic reputation based just outside the Henfield area on a permanent, part time basis.

You will report directly to the Finance Manager and be responsible for overseeing the Accounts Receivable ledger, ensuring a healthy debtors ledger is maintained while building and maintaining strong customer relationships.

Your duties will include:

• Chasing outstanding debt via telephone and e-mail
• Building good relationships with customers
• Taking payments over the phone
• Allocate incoming payments to customer accounts
• Ensure invoices are sent accurately
• Credit checking new customers
• Produce an aged debt report
• Credit card reconciliations
• Send customer statements on a monthly basis
• Issue credit notes when needed
• Keep the system up to date and ensure all communication is documented

Key requirements:

• Experience of working in a credit control position is essential
• You must possess excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to manage good client relationships
• Ability to work under pressure and to work to deadlines
