Day-to-Day of the Role

As a Private Client Lawyer, you will:

• Manage your own caseload of Private Client matters, ensuring proactive and efficient case progression.
• Advise clients on a broad range of matters including drafting Wills, registering Lasting Power of Attorneys, managing client affairs, Inheritance Tax planning, administration of estates, and creation and administration of Trusts.
• Attend client meetings, providing professional and empathetic support through sensitive situations.
• Contribute to the department’s marketing and business development initiatives, building referral relationships and enhancing client service.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Qualified Solicitor, Legal Executive, or equivalent with over 2 years' PQE in Private Client law.
• Experience managing own files and client relationships.
• Strong communication, drafting, and organisational skills.
• Demonstrated empathy, professionalism, and commitment to excellent client care.
• Proactive, collaborative, and eager to engage in continuous learning and development.
• Advocacy experience is beneficial but not essential.
