We are working with a highly respected firm seeking an Audit & Accounts Senior to join their expanding team. The Role

As an Audit & Accounts Senior, you will be responsible for managing audit assignments from planning through to completion, alongside preparing and reviewing accounts for a range of owner-managed businesses and corporate clients.

You will work closely with managers and partners, building strong client relationships and gaining exposure to both compliance and advisory work.

Key Responsibilities

• Leading audit assignments from planning to completion.
• Preparing and reviewing statutory accounts.
• Supervising and mentoring junior team members.
• Liaising directly with clients and responding to queries.
• Preparing corporation tax computations and returns.
• Identifying opportunities to provide additional value to clients.
• Assisting managers and partners with client portfolio management.
• Ensuring work is delivered accurately and within agreed deadlines.

About You

• ACA / ACCA qualified or part-qualified.
• Previous experience within an accountancy practice environment.
• Strong audit and accounts preparation experience.
• Good knowledge of UK accounting standards.
• Excellent communication and client-facing skills.
• Organised, proactive and able to manage multiple deadlines.
• Experience using cloud-based accounting software would be advantageous.
