Account Manager – Digital Marketing

Location: Hybrid with 2 days per week in our Altrincham office
Salary: £35,000 to £40,000 dependent on experience
Contract: Full time, Permanent

The role

Reporting directly to the Head of Client Services and giving them a clear view of where your accounts stand. Our Service Leads own the day-to-day client conversations and channel strategy.

You are the one making sure the results are making a tangible impact; monitoring every KPI, keeping our health scoring and check-in cadence running like clockwork, and making sure nothing ever slips between us and the client.

This is a client guardianship and relationship role, not project management or day-to-day contact.

Throughout each month you will:

• Work with the Service Leads to monitor performance against KPIs across ~40 accounts
• Pressure-test our monthly reports vs KPIs, coordinating feedback across channel specialists
• Spot channel specific comms and changes that affect other areas and make sure no-one is working in a silo
• Ensure all accounts get timely performance reviews, QBRs, prebreak and pre-renewal reviews
• Maintain accurate client health scores in Monday.com
• Spot amber and red movement before it becomes a problem and escalate fast
• Support renewals and cross-sell execution (materials, follow-up) without owning the commercial strategy or pricing

In order to be successful in this role you must have / be:

• Capable of having mature commercial conversations with business owners
• Experience in client services or account management, ideally in a performance or digital marketing agency
• Calm and organised managing a high volume of accounts (40-50 contracts)
• A confident, clear and humble communicator, written and verbal
• Comfortable asking and answering the hard commercial questions with senior client stakeholders
• Data-literate: you read performance metrics (CPA, spend, conversions) and understand the commercial story behind them

It would be great if you had:

• Hands-on exposure to PPC, Paid Social, SEO or Digital PR
• Experience working alongside specialist delivery teams
• Familiarity with Monday.com and with health-scoring or account tiering frameworks
