Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 4:00pm (Core Hours)

Our client is looking for someone who can hit the ground running, confidently programming, setting and operating Mazak machining centres to deliver exceptional standards of quality and accuracy.

Your Responsibilities

As a CNC Miller, you will be responsible for:

• Programming, setting and operating Mazak CNC milling machines.
• Producing high-precision components to exact engineering specifications.
• Working with specialist materials including Nickel Alloy, Inconel, Stainless Steel and Aluminium Bronze.
• Reading and accurately interpreting imperial engineering drawings.
• Carrying out first article inspections to ensure components meet required specifications.
• Monitoring machining processes and making adjustments where necessary.
• Maintaining consistently high standards of accuracy, quality and workmanship.
• Working in accordance with AS9100 quality management procedures.
• Identifying and resolving machining issues to maintain production quality and efficiency.

What We're Looking For

We are keen to speak with experienced CNC Millers who can demonstrate:

• Proven experience programming, setting and operating Mazak CNC milling machines – essential.
• Experience working with Mazak J600, I800T or VNC510 machining centres – highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of machining exotic and high-value materials.
• Confidence reading and interpreting imperial engineering drawings.
• Experience completing first article inspections.
• A good understanding of AS9100 quality standards.
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality components.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the confidence to make decisions independently.
• The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of an experienced engineering team.
