Helpdesk Operator

National Library | Euston, London£14.80 per hour | Immediate Start | 3-Month Temporary Contract

We are seeking an experienced Helpdesk Operator to join the Estates & Facilities team at a prestigious National Library in Euston.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the first point of contact for facilities-related enquiries via phone, email, and in person.
• Log and manage service requests through CAFM systems.
• Raise and track work orders, providing timely updates to customers.
• Coordinate meeting room bookings and associated services.
• Support events and provide general administrative support.
• Maintain records, asset registers, and internal signage.
• Escalate service issues and assist in resolving customer complaints.

Essential Skills & Experience

• Previous helpdesk, service desk, or call centre experience.
• Facilities Management experience.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Strong IT skills, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and database/CAFM systems.
• Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
• Able to prioritise workloads and work independently.

Desirable

• Experience with CAFM or similar facilities management systems.
• Administrative experience within an estates or facilities environment.

Rate: £14.80 per hour
