Premises Manager

• Location: Blackpool
• Job Type: Full-time, Temporary to Permanent
• Hours: 7:30am - 4:30pm, Monday to Friday
• Start Date: After October Half Term
• Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience

We are seeking a Premises Manager to join a welcoming and supportive school environment after the October half-term. This full-time role offers a great opportunity for an experienced Premises Manager, Caretaker, or Site Supervisor to secure a long-term position within a school setting.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Open and secure the school premises daily.
• Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs to ensure the school is always in good condition.
• Ensure the school site is safe, secure, clean, and well-maintained.
• Conduct regular health and safety checks and site inspections.
• Monitor heating, lighting, alarm, and security systems.
• Liaise with external contractors and oversee maintenance works.
• Maintain school grounds and outdoor areas.
• Support with room and hall setups for school events.
• Respond promptly to any site-related issues or emergencies.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Previous experience in premises management, caretaking, facilities, or site management.
• Strong practical maintenance and DIY skills.
• Good understanding of health and safety procedures.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.
• A proactive, reliable, and flexible approach to work.
• An enhanced DBS check will be required.
