Reed in Middlesbrough are on the hunt for a talented and driven Paid Ads Specialist to join their clients' growing marketing team in Middlesbrough. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced digital marketer with a passion for paid advertising, client success, and delivering measurable results.

You will be responsible for planning, implementing, and optimising paid advertising campaigns across multiple platforms while working closely with clients, developers, and the wider marketing team. This role also offers the opportunity to mentor junior team members and contribute to the continued growth of the department.

Key Responsibilities

• Audit and optimise paid advertising accounts across Google Ads, Microsoft/Bing Ads, and Meta Ads.
• Develop and implement effective paid advertising strategies that help clients achieve their business objectives.
• Conduct detailed keyword research and audience targeting analysis.
• Identify opportunities to improve campaign performance and maximise ROI.
• Create compelling paid advertising proposals for prospective clients.
• Monitor account performance using key metrics and performance indicators.
• Produce detailed monthly reports that clearly communicate campaign results and recommendations.
• Provide strategic insights and actionable recommendations to improve campaign performance.
• Report department performance and key data to the Marketing Manager.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships.
• Liaise with clients and developers to ensure recommendations are implemented successfully.
• Manage client communications professionally and confidently.
• Handle client escalations and retention discussions where required.
• Set up and manage product feeds and tracking implementations.
• Ensure accurate campaign tracking through tools such as Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager.
• Stay up to date with industry trends, platform updates, and best practices.
• Support and mentor junior members of the team.
• Assist with workload management, processes, and department efficiencies.
• Identify training needs and deliver coaching and development where required.
• Demonstrate and promote company values across the team.

The successful candidate will have:

• Minimum 3 years' agency experience managing paid advertising campaigns.
• Strong knowledge of:

  • Google Tag Manager
  • Google Search Console
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proven ability to demonstrate commercial value and campaign success.
• Experience presenting results and recommendations to clients.
