Reed Finance is working with a highly successful and growing UK market leader operating within a specialist sector. With annual turnover approaching £20 million and ambitious plans for continued growth, they are now seeking a Management Accountant to join the business in a newly created position.

Working closely with the Commercial Director and Senior Leadership Team, you will play a key role in delivering meaningful financial insight to support business performance and strategic decision-making.

This role will focus on higher-value accounting activities, reporting, analysis and business partnering.

Reporting directly into the Senior Leadership Team, responsibilities will include:

• Preparation of monthly management accounts
• Production of detailed financial and management reports
• Variance analysis and performance reporting
• Budgeting and forecasting activities
• Cash flow reporting and monitoring
• KPI development and reporting
• Supporting commercial decision-making through financial analysis
• Assisting with year-end processes and external accountants
• Identifying opportunities to improve financial controls and reporting processes
• Providing financial insight to support ongoing business growth

We are keen to speak with candidates who possess:

• Previous experience in a Management Accountant, Assistant Management Accountant or similar finance role
• Experience producing management accounts and financial reporting
• Strong Excel skills and confidence analysing financial data
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders across the business
• Currently studying / part-qualified / or qualified by experience
• Ambition to develop and progress within a growing organisation
