Description

As an Audit Manager, you'll work closely with senior leadership while taking increasing responsibility for both clients and team members. Responsibilities will include:

• Plan and deliver audit assignments, ensuring work is completed to agreed deadlines.
• Review audit files and working papers to maintain clear, accurate documentation.
• Manage audit timetables and priorities across assigned client work.
• Act as a main contact for clients during audit assignments, providing clear updates.
• Identify audit findings and present them in a practical, easy-to-understand way.
• Work with colleagues in Accounting & Finance to resolve audit queries efficiently.
• Monitor assignment progress and address issues early to keep work moving.
• Prepare clear reports and completion documentation for each audit engagement.

Profile

A successful Audit Manager should have:

• Experience managing audit assignments from planning through to completion.
• Strong knowledge of audit testing, documentation and file review.
• Confidence reviewing work and identifying areas requiring further investigation.
• Ability to manage deadlines and prioritise several audit assignments.
• Clear written skills for preparing audit reports and supporting documents.
• Experience communicating audit findings and progress updates to clients.

Job Offer
